Christian & Karla: An Old San Juan Love Story in Puerto Rico

Couple posing in Old San Juan for a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico

It’s all about composition

This past Saturday, I had the joy of capturing a love story session with Christian and Karla in the historic and colorful streets of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The session was nothing short of spectacular, with the city’s rich architecture and vibrant culture providing the perfect canvas for this couple’s love story. To top it off, the evening sky treated us to a breathtaking sunset with hues of blue, orange, and purple, setting a stunning scene that truly highlighted their connection.

Pre-wedding photoshoots like this allow couples to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Christian and Karla had never had professional photos taken, and at first, it showed in their slight nervousness. But with a few carefully selected prompts and some practice poses, they quickly began to relax and let their guard down, letting their true personalities shine. These moments are invaluable, as they help couples feel prepared and at ease for their wedding day.

In the middle.

Having my assistant, Bryan, on hand made a huge difference in capturing the lighting of Old San Juan at its finest. Using both natural and flash photography, we were able to create dynamic shots that showcase not only the beauty of the location but also the bond between Christian and Karla. The combination of the setting sun and our lighting techniques brought out their best features and enhanced the vibrant backdrop. It’s experiences like these that remind me why I love being a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico.

Old San Juan is a dream destination for couples, especially those traveling from afar. It boasts colorful streets, historic architecture, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes anyone feel right at home. As Puerto Rico wedding photographers, we are fortunate to capture couples against such rich, picturesque scenery that you simply can’t find anywhere else. For Christian and Karla, this pre-wedding session allowed them to celebrate their love in a setting that mirrors both the timeless beauty of their bond and the unique charm of Puerto Rico.

For couples coming from Europe, a pre-wedding photoshoot in Puerto Rico is the perfect way to ease into their wedding celebrations. This experience isn’t just about capturing beautiful photos; it’s a chance to explore their destination, connect with their photographer, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Plus, they get to relax and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings without the pressures of the wedding day itself.

Puerto Rico offers a variety of stunning locations for every type of couple. From the vibrant colors of Old San Juan to the lush greenery of El Yunque Rainforest and the soft sands of its pristine beaches, there is something for everyone. This diversity is one of the many reasons European couples are increasingly choosing to celebrate their weddings here, allowing them to blend adventure and romance effortlessly. It’s no wonder that wedding photographer in Puerto Rico has become such a sought-after title.

Slow down.

During the session, Christian and Karla were able to connect in a deeper, more intimate way, thanks to the relaxed pace of the pre-wedding shoot. Without the usual wedding day pressures, they could enjoy the experience without any interruptions, making it an ideal way to build anticipation for the main event. For many couples, these sessions provide photos that are just as meaningful as those from the wedding day, adding another layer to their wedding album.

As Puerto Rico wedding photographers, it’s always a pleasure to see couples embrace this beautiful island. Pre-wedding sessions offer a sneak peek into the wedding experience, giving them a taste of the beauty they’ll be immersed in on their special day. And for us photographers, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with our couples, understand their preferences, and learn how to best tell their unique love story.

Old San Juan wedding venue

For European couples dreaming of a destination wedding, Puerto Rico provides not only a captivating backdrop but also convenience. There’s no passport requirement for U.S. citizens, which can ease travel arrangements for family and friends. For European couples, the island’s tropical beauty and vibrant culture make it an unparalleled location. Plus, many wedding photographers in Puerto Rico are fluent in English and Spanish, providing seamless communication.

The photos from Christian and Karla’s session came out beautifully, capturing their personalities and the romance of Old San Juan. Each image is a testament to the power of a well-planned pre-wedding shoot, allowing couples to truly express themselves while discovering the charm of their destination. I am so grateful to be part of their journey and look forward to capturing their wedding in December, knowing that they now feel more comfortable and connected in front of the camera.

In the end, a pre-wedding photoshoot is more than just practice for the wedding day—it’s an experience that lets couples bond, relax, and fully immerse themselves in their surroundings. For Christian and Karla, this Old San Juan session became a memory they’ll carry with them into their wedding day. And as a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, I can’t wait to see how these moments inspire their wedding story in just a few short months.

Capturing Romance Through a Cinematic Lens: Introducing Glasgow

Introducing 'Glasgow': my new editing style as a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico who want a more cinematic, fine art look to their pictures.

Portrait of a couple during their destination wedding in Puerto Rico

Kiara & Matt in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

As a Puerto Rico wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of photographing some of the most vibrant and colorful weddings in one of the most naturally stunning locations in the world. The tropical scenery, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking beaches have often inspired me to keep my images true to color, allowing the natural beauty of Puerto Rico to shine through. However, like many artists, I've found myself drawn toward a new creative direction, one that channels the quiet, intimate elegance often seen in European landscapes.

Enter 'Glasgow,' a new branch of my wedding photography portfolio, designed specifically for couples who are in search of something different. Inspired by European photographers who capture love stories amidst the small cities of Italy, the timeless villas of Spain, and the rugged highlands of Scotland, 'Glasgow' embraces a more muted, desaturated color palette that reflects the understated romance of these storied locations.

Bride getting ready in Old San Juan taken by a Puerto Rico wedding photographer

Cara getting ready in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

The photographs within this style evoke a sense of intimacy and timelessness. Each frame is carefully composed to resemble a still from a classic film, with subtle hues and softened contrasts that speak to quiet moments rather than grand gestures. In these images, you'll find an emphasis on natural light, gentle textures, and a mood that is almost ethereal—perfect for couples seeking a wedding gallery that feels cinematic and personal.

For couples who value romance and emotion over extravagance, this style will resonate deeply. If you dream of your wedding photos capturing not just the big moments, but the fleeting, tender exchanges—the brush of a hand, a glance across the room, the soft smiles shared in private—then 'Glasgow' is the aesthetic that will speak to your heart. The desaturated tones give each image a timeless quality, much like a cherished love letter kept safe through the years.

3D Photography in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

While many wedding photographers in Puerto Rico are known for the bold, vibrant colors often seen in tropical weddings, this approach offers something entirely different. 'Glasgow' stands out by embracing a minimalist yet deeply romantic aesthetic, perfect for couples who may be drawn to the subtle beauty of European landscapes but want to experience that same sense of elegance in Puerto Rico.

The cinematic undertone in these photos is not accidental. I carefully edit each gallery to ensure that every image feels like a still from a love story captured on film, with the soft grain and muted highlights that bring out the emotions shared between two people on their wedding day. This style allows me to focus on the connection between the couple rather than the background, giving the images an air of exclusivity and emotional depth.

Couples who are planning smaller, more intimate weddings may find this style particularly appealing. The soft, muted tones lend themselves well to elopements, destination weddings, and ceremonies where the focus is on close connections rather than large, traditional celebrations. Whether you’re getting married in a historic villa or a hidden garden, the 'Glasgow' aesthetic turns each venue into the perfect backdrop for a love story.

In terms of mood, this look is all about creating images that feel as though they could exist out of time. By desaturating the colors and embracing a more understated approach to light, I aim to create a sense of stillness and reflection in each photograph, allowing the emotions of the day to take center stage.

Kiara & Matt in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

While my true-to-color portfolio will always remain for those who want to embrace the vibrancy of Puerto Rico, 'Glasgow' offers a softer, more introspective option for couples who want their wedding photos to feel as intimate as their love story. It’s a style that will appeal to those who appreciate classic films, timeless romance, and the kind of wedding photography that feels like it could be framed as fine art.

For couples looking for something less traditional yet deeply romantic, 'Glasgow' provides the perfect blend of modern elegance and timeless beauty. Whether your wedding is set against the backdrop of Puerto Rico’s natural wonders or another equally captivating destination, this style will ensure that your photos remain a testament to your love, captured in a way that feels both cinematic and enduring.

Ahjahfri & Nathaniel at Escambrón Beach & Condado Palm

Ahjahfri & Nathaniel tied the knot in Escambrón Beach near Old San Juan then met me at the Condado Palm for some more wedding photography in Puerto Rico.

Ceremony in Escambrón Beach taken by a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico

Tim doing his thing at Escambrón Beach, Old San Juan

As a Puerto Rico wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful moments, but Ahjahfri and Nathaniel's wedding truly stands out as one of the most memorable. This lovely couple, traveling all the way from Delaware to tie the knot in Puerto Rico, had planned a simple, intimate ceremony near the stunning beach at Escambrón. Having booked me months in advance, they wanted to keep things low-key since it was their second marriage. We were set for a short, two-hour event that would focus on their love story, with the serene beauty of Puerto Rico as the backdrop. As a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, I strive to create meaningful images, even in the shortest of timelines.

Nathaniel patiently waiting in Escambrón Beach

The morning of their wedding, I sat down to gather some fresh inspiration for posing ideas. With only two hours together, I knew I had to make every shot count. I arrived early at the venue to scope out the best angles and monitor the weather, which can change rapidly in Puerto Rico. But just as their entourage arrived, Nathaniel pulled me aside to give me some unexpected news. His bride, Ahjahfri, had taken a fall at the mall earlier that day and severely injured her hip, making it almost impossible for her to walk. Instantly, I knew this would alter our plans, but as a Puerto Rico wedding photographer, flexibility is key.

Turning to your right.

Ahjahfri arrived about 30 minutes late, understandably delayed due to the intense pain she was in. When she vacated her vehicle, she was confined to a motorized wheelchair to get to and from the ceremony site. Watching her perseverance and determination despite the pain was nothing short of inspiring. At that moment, I knew we’d have to adjust, but my goal as a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico is always to make the couple feel at ease, no matter the circumstances. I approached her gently and suggested we do a ‘first look’—a moment where the groom first sees his bride in her gown—so that we could capture some intimate photos before the ceremony officially began.

Nathaniel being blown away.

To my relief, she agreed, and we made that ‘first look’ happen near the greenery where the ceremony would take place. Nathaniel’s face lit up the moment he saw her, and despite the challenges, their connection was palpable. The officiant, Tim, then began the ceremony, and I wasted no time capturing as many photos as I could. Despite the time crunch, I focused on documenting the authentic love between the two, ensuring they had moments to look back on, even with the unexpected turn of events. It’s situations like this that remind me why being a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico is so rewarding.

Once the ceremony wrapped up, I knew our time together was winding down. However, I wasn’t ready to end the day without giving them a few extra memories. I approached Ahjahfri’s daughter, who seemed to be in charge of the event logistics, and informed her that I would be heading over to their hotel, the Condado Palm, to prepare for more pictures. The couple, who had been through so much that day, deserved to have some quiet, beautiful moments together. As a Puerto Rico wedding photographer, I always strive to give my couples more than they expect, especially when the situation calls for it.

Moved by emotions.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I scouted the venue to find a suitable spot for some final shots of the couple. I spotted an outdoor patio area that had the perfect ambiance, and to my relief, it featured a ramp for wheelchair access. This allowed Ahjahfri to join Nathaniel with ease, despite her injury. I wanted these last photos to be extra special, so I offered to gift them these additional pictures as a way to make up for the challenges they had faced throughout the day. Being a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico means knowing how to make the most of any situation, and I was determined to do just that.

As the sun began to set, I posed the couple on the patio’s couch, utilizing the fading natural light. To make the most of the setting, I pulled out my flash and started bouncing light off the white canopy above them. The soft, diffused light added a romantic glow, and I could tell the couple was starting to relax and enjoy these quieter moments. These are the kinds of shots that remind me why I love being a Puerto Rico wedding photographer—the ability to turn even the simplest setting into something magical with just the right light and approach.

Take my hand...

After capturing those intimate moments, I switched up my style and went for something a bit more fun and modern. I flipped my flash down and began taking straight-on, paparazzi-style shots, which have become a popular trend in wedding photography on social media. These images gave the couple a fresh, editorial feel, adding a bit of playfulness to the end of our session. It’s always a joy to mix traditional shots with something unexpected, and as a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, I try to keep my couples feeling excited and engaged throughout the shoot.

They do.

When our time together came to an end, the couple thanked me for my flexibility and for going the extra mile despite the unforeseen difficulties. They were especially grateful that I acknowledged Ahjahfri’s situation and found ways to work around it without making her feel uncomfortable. It’s in moments like these that I’m reminded how important empathy is in my role as a Puerto Rico wedding photographer. The ability to adapt, stay calm under pressure, and still deliver beautiful memories is what truly defines the experience I aim to provide.

Being silly.

As a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, it’s my mission to create timeless, authentic images for my couples, no matter what challenges arise on the big day. Ahjahfri and Nathaniel’s wedding may not have gone as planned, but the love and commitment they showed each other were more than enough to create lasting memories. I’m so honored to have been a part of their day and to have had the opportunity to capture their story amidst the beauty of Puerto Rico. Their gallery is a testament to love’s resilience, and I can’t wait to share it with them.

How To Write The Perfect Wedding Vows

If you've been sitting on your wedding vows for a long time, I just might have the tips and tricks to get you over the hump.

Portrait taken by a Puerto Rico destination wedding photographer at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Resort of a bride reading her vows

From the heart...

Writing your own wedding vows is one of the most personal and meaningful aspects of your wedding day. Whether you’re a bride or groom, your vows are an opportunity to express your love, share your promises, and make your partner feel incredibly special. As a Puerto Rico wedding photographer, I’ve witnessed countless couples exchange vows that moved everyone to tears. Here are some tips to help you craft vows that are as memorable and heartfelt as your love story.

1. Start Early and Give Yourself Time

Writing your vows shouldn't be a last-minute task. Start at least a few weeks before the wedding to give yourself plenty of time to reflect and refine your words. Take some time alone in a quiet space or even a favorite spot that holds sentimental value. Whether you’re writing on the beach during your destination wedding in Puerto Rico or at your cozy home, find a setting that inspires you.

2. Reflect on Your Relationship

Begin by reflecting on your relationship. Think about the moment you first met, your favorite memories together, and the qualities you adore in your partner. As a professional photographer in Puerto Rico, I've captured many authentic moments that show the deep connections between couples. Draw from these special experiences to add a personal touch to your vows.

3. Convey Emotion and Honesty

Your vows should be a true reflection of your feelings. Don’t be afraid to get emotional—whether that means expressing your deepest love or even making a lighthearted joke about something that only the two of you would understand. Your authenticity will resonate, and that’s what makes your vows perfect. Remember, it’s okay to get teary-eyed—after all, emotion is what makes your words powerful.

4. Consider the Cadence and Flow

While content is key, the way your vows sound when spoken aloud is equally important. Consider the cadence and rhythm of your vows. Shorter sentences can be impactful, and a good mix of longer, reflective thoughts with concise, poignant statements will keep your audience engaged. Practice reading them out loud, and if you stumble over any phrases, simplify them for a smoother delivery.

5. Decide on Writing vs. Speaking from the Heart

Some couples debate whether to read their vows or speak from the heart without notes. Both approaches have their charm. Reading ensures you don’t forget anything, especially if nerves get the best of you. However, speaking from the heart can feel more spontaneous and sincere. If you’re unsure, practice both ways and choose the one that feels most comfortable for you.

6. Incorporate Personal Promises

Vows aren’t just about expressing love; they’re about making promises for the future. Include commitments that are meaningful to both of you. Whether it’s promising to always support their dreams or to cherish every Sunday breakfast together, these specific promises make your vows uniquely yours.

His & Hers

7. Keep It Balanced and Concise

Your vows should be long enough to convey your message but short enough to hold attention. Aim for about one to two minutes in length. If you’re a Puerto Rico photographer like me, you’ll know that the best moments are often short and sweet, capturing the essence of the moment without overstaying their welcome.

8. Write in a Relaxed Setting

Find a comfortable spot to write your vows, somewhere that allows you to focus and feel at ease. Whether it’s your favorite café, a quiet park, or a secluded corner of your home, the right environment can make all the difference. For those planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, consider writing your vows while soaking in the island’s natural beauty.

Speak like you mean it.

9. Get a Second Opinion (If You Need It)

If you’re feeling stuck, don’t hesitate to get a second opinion. Share your draft with a trusted friend or even a professional photographer in Puerto Rico who understands the significance of personal touches in weddings. Just be mindful of keeping the vows a surprise for your partner.

10. Practice, But Keep It Fresh

Finally, practice your vows to feel more confident when it’s time to deliver them. However, avoid over-rehearsing to the point where they sound scripted. The magic of vows often lies in their delivery—your genuine emotions and slight imperfections are what make them truly unforgettable.

Them.

Writing your wedding vows is a chance to speak from the heart and set the tone for your marriage. Whether you’re planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico or celebrating elsewhere, your vows will be a cherished memory for years to come. As a Puerto Rico wedding photographer, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful well-crafted vows can be. So, take your time, be true to yourself, and let your love shine through every word.

Nothing makes me happier as a destination wedding photographer in Puerto Rico to go back to where it all started: the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Resort. Malikqua & Shain tied the knot and I have the pictures to prove it!

Flat Lay

My latest wedding as a destination wedding photographer in Puerto Rico was marked on my calendar longer than any other, a date I eagerly anticipated for months. Malikqua had reached out to me almost a year in advance to secure my services for her wedding at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar. As soon as I heard about what the venue would be, I became excited immediately because it has a very special place in my heart. Not only is it one of the most aesthetically pleasing backgrounds for wedding photography in Puerto Rico, but it’s also the venue in which I shot my first wedding ever. As you can imagine, my eyes lit up when she told me she secured the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar as the place where her love story would unfold.

Malikqua happens to be a real estate agent and our conversation initially took place in her car. She must’ve been getting ready to show a house or something but I found it rather funny. I locked in August 10th on my calendar and blocked it off because I knew exactly the typo of shots I wanted to take as a professional photographer in Puerto Rico: elegant and true to color with a cinematic haze and glow around all of my people. Fortunately the weather was cooperative and we were able to have an exceptional wedding day at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar. It was hot, as you can imagine summer to be in Puerto Rico, but we all got through the humidity with a smile on our faces.

It's all in the details...

Arriving early, as is my customary practice, allowed me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the venue and capture its essence before the whirlwind of the wedding day commenced. In Puerto Rico, the enchanting landscapes and vibrant colors serve as a perfect backdrop for the love stories I document. I took my time during the details and getting ready process, meticulously arranging the delicate elements that tell each couple’s unique narrative. The soft morning light poured through the windows, casting a magical glow upon the lobby where I captured the details, enhancing everything—from the shimmer of the wedding gown to the delicate items arranged with care. This tranquil time provided the perfect opportunity to connect with the arrangement, ensuring that every moment would be captured with the sophistication and artistry that defines my work.

Upon my arrival at the stunning Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, I discovered the bride and her bridesmaids preparing enthusiastically in a windowless ballroom tucked away downstairs, creating an intriguing challenge for capturing that coveted natural light that enhances every photograph. As a luxury wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, my instinct immediately led me to carefully scout the venue for the best possible locations. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a vacant lobby adorned with large, sweeping windows, inviting warm streams of sunlight that beautifully illuminated my flat lay mat. This serendipitous find offered the perfect backdrop, allowing me to create breathtaking, cinematic imagery of the exquisite bridal details, ensuring that every moment and element was celebrated with the exceptional elegance it truly deserved.

The lovely bride.

After capturing the intricate details of the bride's exquisite details, my focus gracefully shifted to finding the perfect backdrop for her breathtaking portraiture. I discovered a long, elegantly designed corridor, serene and vacant, offering an ideal setting away from the delightful bustle of the ongoing celebration. The soft, golden light filtering through the windows created an ethereal ambiance that beautifully enhanced the elegance of the moment. This secluded spot, with its subtle charm and minimal foot traffic, promised to encapsulate the bride's beauty and graceful poise, ensuring that each shot would resonate profoundly with the sophistication and artistry we diligently strive for in our cinematic imagery.

I remember setting up two flashes for her portrait: one as a key light and the other on the ground pointed upwards so that I could achieve a nice glow behind there and blend it with the natural light in the background coming in from the venue doors. I was actually really excited for these pics because, not only did she look radiant after Melina, the makeup artist, was done with her but because I knew that this lighting setup would make her look beautiful. I had her hold her gorgeous bouquet at a waist high level and smile as big as she ever has. Fortunately for me I was able to Photoshop the entire light stand I was using out seamlessly to give it that look that I was going for. I am elated with how these pics turned out, the one above being my favorite hands down.

Hits different in black and white...

Shortly after these stunning and breathtaking portraits were captured, Malikqua gracefully made her way back to the opulent ballroom, her excitement palpable as she rejoined her beloved bridesmaids for those all-important final touch-ups. The atmosphere buzzed with palpable anticipation. Amidst the delightful flurry of beauty routines and shared smiles, Malikqua indulged in her guilty pleasure, meticulously setting up her phone to capture the carefree, joyful moments on TikTok. Each video became a fleeting snapshot of a day steeped in love, celebration, and magical moments, allowing her to share the enchantment and beauty of her wedding while creating lasting, cherished memories with her nearest and dearest friends and family.

I seized the wonderful opportunity to document the joyous moments as her beautiful bridesmaids gathered, capturing their infectious laughter and palpable excitement as they prepared for the momentous day ahead. With careful attention to detail, I also focused on the spontaneous behind-the-scenes snapshots of TikTok viral dances that erupted, transforming the elegant bridal suite into a lively and unforgettable celebration. These candid images not only highlighted the deep camaraderie among the bridesmaids but also encapsulated the vibrant and exhilarating energy of the day, adding a playful yet sophisticated layer to the overall narrative of the luxurious wedding experience.

"All my single ladies..." no more!

We were gradually inching closer to the much-anticipated ceremony, the atmosphere thick with a palpable sense of excitement and the soft rustle of leaves whispering in the gentle breeze. Carola, my exceptionally talented second photographer, was situated in the groom's room, making sure he and his groomsmen were not only comfortable but also prepared for the momentous occasion that lay ahead. Meanwhile, I made my way out to the expansive green pasture, where the vibrant surroundings promised to encapsulate the essence of their wedding ceremony beautifully and elegantly. The golden sunlight danced gracefully across the landscape, casting a warm glow that set the perfect stage for a day destined to become a cherished memory for everyone present.

Unlike my initial experience shooting a wedding at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, this time we found ourselves on the opposite side of the venue, away from the area most commonly used for ceremonies. The heat and humidity were very noticeable at first, enveloping us in a warm embrace as we prepared for the day ahead. However, as the afternoon progressed, a refreshing breeze began to sweep through, offering a much-appreciated respite from the sweltering atmosphere. This unexpected change not only enhanced the comfort of the couple and their guests but also served to elevate the overall cinematic quality of my imagery, creating the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments.

One of my favorite shots of the day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day to get married. The actual time slot when the ceremony took place was absolutely the perfect one. The sun shined at the right angle and the way we were positioned made for some of the most majestic images I’ve taken so far in 2024 as a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico. Marilyn, the often-seen officiant, put together yet another wonderful ceremony full of elegant sentences and eloquent speeches. I scurried around the grounds as I usually do in order to get the shots that I want. Once I’m done with the basic over-the-shoulders of both the bride and groom, I remember focusing my attention to the more creative photography for which I’m known. This one you see above was taken through one of the gaps from the archway. It came out wonderfully!

Someone get Shain a towel.

Once the heartfelt ceremony concluded, we carved out a few precious moments for the couple to elegantly capture stunning portraits against the breathtaking backdrop of their unique love story. This intimate interlude allowed us to create the exquisite cinematic imagery we pride ourselves on, beautifully highlighting their joy, connection, and the profound emotions that filled the air. Following their portraits, we seamlessly transitioned into taking cherished family and friends portraits, as guests lingered in the warmth of the celebration, still gathered near the ceremony site, creating a vibrant atmosphere. As a wedding photographer in Puerto Rico, I wholeheartedly believe this thoughtful approach not only preserves the emotional essence of the day but also ensures that the significant relationships are honored before everyone steps inside to cool off and continue the festivities.
